Jay made a commitment to the Lord a couple years ago and lately it has been weighing on his heart to complete the process. Our church did a series on baptism and what it means in July. Jay said he felt God tugging at his heart and he knew it was time. He wanted to make his public announcement that he has given his life to the Lord and everything in the past is washed away. He wanted to feel completely cleansed in the Lord. Today is the day he did that. It was such a great experience to be able to watch him be baptized. I'm so happy he made this decision and did it on his own. We had a lot of family and friends join us to watch his spiritual growth. Afterwards we celebrated at our house with some food.
