Here's a little update....
I'm still looking for my memory card so it has put some of my postings behind. :(
Meanwhile, Jay bought me a new one so I can be able to take pictures.
I got a new camera set for my Birthday which I'm super excited about. Jay said he wants me to fulfill my photography dreams. We will see how far I will get :)
I'm starting school again. I decided to stick with two classes this semester. I was late registering so I wasn't able to have top picks as usual.
Bri'elle is almost potty trained. She pretty much tells us during the day. At night we let her sleep with a pullup. I haven't attempted a public potty yet but were making a lot of progress...more to come! Yay!
Jay has been super busy at work. Everyone loves him there. He got safety certified recently. The past week he was trained on two other positions to fill in for two coworkers who haven't been in. They work in different departments so he's getting his foot more in the door. Can't wait for October to be here, his probation ends beginning October.
I was put on fulltime as there are a lot of people in our office going on vacation. This is good and bad. Good: bigger paychecks which will help us out because our projected move out will be sometime in Decemeber/January. Bad: I miss those 2-3 hours I usual spend will Bri'elle, just me and her.

Relay For Life
August 13th & 14th - Our community held the annual "Cancer" awareness walk at one of the local parks in our area. We have been participating for 6 years now since my second diagnosis with cancer.
This year our team was more relaxed. (The first three years we did the year-around fundraisers, decorated all out, raised tons of money, etc.) The past couple of years I needed to take a break. It is a lot of work sending out newsletters/emails to everyone and planning fundraisers. Next year I'm hoping to be more in the spirit of going all out again :)
Relay 2011 -
The Relay this year brought new stories to hear, new reasons to fight, more birthdays, and remembrance for new losses. We decorated in our usual theme "birthday". It was awesome to see the family and friends who came down to the Relay. I appreciate everyone who came down to support me and others who have fought cancer. This year it was fun being able to watch Bri'elle and the other kids partake in some of the activities and have fun. I can't wait to teach her more about it, to tell and show her what I went through. When the luminaria bags were lit Bri'elle was amazed with the candle inside and the bag decorated. It will be nice to explain to her each bag represents a person who has had cancer. When I look at my bag I just smile as I remember what I went through but by the God given gifts of the many doctors and nurses that I was seen by I pulled through BOTH times. God works in many ways.
God has given me the gift of life to live to the fullest. The gift of great and wonderful family who show their love and great friends who give support. The relay this year was truly amazing and a gift in itself.
I would like to thank everyone who participated; it meant so much to me for you to be there. : )

Bad luck at 25
Because I need to seriously vent and reach out, maybe this has happened to others... Maybe not :(
So my birthday was this past week (a better posting will tell you about my wonderful day). I turned 25. For me it was just another birthday I have to thank God that I'm able to celebrate. I didn't do anything big but still felt special. Well the next day I had an extremely horrible day, which doesn't happen often because I don't dwell on the bad or negative stuff I praise the positive and look at the bigger picture but there was just something about that day that seemed off. All day! I was losing my memory easily forgetting where I was putting things and they were right under my nose. Well I was so very exhausted and fatigued that I had the feeling I was going to through up or faint. It was not a good feeling. When jay got home I was able to take a nap. I took about a 2 hour nap and felt like I didn't even fall asleep. It was almost useless. My body and mind didn't feel any better. Well, the day/night went on and I woke up feeling better.
The next day, I thought was going to be great and it actually was until today (Friday) I realized I misplaced my memory card for my camera that had 1300 pictures (some have been uploaded) on it. I've looked everywhere! I even offered a reward to my family to help me find it. I stayed up late last night looking for it and I've spent almost the whole time I've been home from work looking for it...no progress. It really bothers me because I remember taking it out of my camera and nothing else. My mind is completely blank. And I really losing my memory. I really hope not and I hope I find it sooner or later. All my relay for life and birthday pictures are on there there that haven't been uploaded and its really upset me. Ugh!
Well I feel somewhat better writing about it. Please pray that either I find it and all is well or God can rest my guilt and frustratedness.
And maybe that I'm not losing my mind....
<3 thanks for listening (reading in this case)

The Perfect Salad
Yesterday we went to Trader Joe's. Of course, when we get there Bri'elle and I head straight to the sample area. Oh how I adore stores with samples. Anyhow the sample was a Harvest Salad. It is the best packaged salad I have ever tasted and is extremely healthy. It is made up of: grilled chicken, corn, white cheddar cheese, hard boiled egg, green beans, tomatoes, and spring red leaf lettuce with a creamy dijon dressing.
This salad is full of protein.and your daily serving of vegetables. And they all tasted fresh like I made the salad myself. All for the price of $3.99. Such a good deal.
Thought I would share a taste of my heaven right now.

Things to Look Forward to
Things to look forward to:
We have so many things coming up and trips were planning. I'm so excited for all of them!
Oh the festivites...
And to talk about the ones that are more recent, I'm counting down the days. For my birthday, I'm trying to plan something everyday during my birthday week (I celebrate my birthday all week long, lol. I'm still a lil kid). I think we're going to do an A's game, have dinner with the family, then meeting with some friends for dinner another night, and who knows what else. ;)
Vegas will be here in almost one month!!! Jay and I haven't been back since our honeymoon and we didn't get to see everything (its was our HONEYMOON..lol). I've been back twice without him (this will be my third time in a year of going back). We are going with our closest friends Marissa & Justin. It's there first time visiting. We are going to do ALOT of sight seeing while were there, maybe a show, and just plainly relaxing.
Anything exciting going on in your life? I would love to hear about. And if not, let's plan something...hehe

August How I Love Thee
August is here!!!!!
August is a special month for me. I love it so much because it's my birthday! Jay teases me because he swears I act like my birthday is the whole month. But for me, birthdays should be celebrated at their very best. Every birthday is a new year of life that isn't promised to you and you never know what could happen so I say why not welcome your new year with a boom! Even if you don't do something extravagant I think everyone deserves to at least feel special. Which is why I always try to go out of my way to make sure someone feels special on their special day.
August brings in a lot of celebrations
We will be celebrating BOTH of my sisters birthdays in August. Yes, all of us girls are born in this wonderful month. Along with ALOT of other birthdays.
The Cancer Relay (Relay for Life) is this month which is another celebration for more birthdays. Even though I haven't been totalling involved this year, I'm looking forward to walking the track in honor and in memory of every cancer patient, visiting with every one, and seeing my family & friends come to support me. It's so awesome to be a part of such a huge network even though I had to endure the worst to get to this point.
Also this month I celebrate 6 years from my last diagnosis. A couple weeks before my birthday I went in because of a strange tumorlike looking thing I woke up with one day and about a week after I received a phone call telling me my worst nightmare had came back after 12 years. I had surgery very soon after that and was in recovery from July to October. This was the year we got involved with the Relay For Life. My team came in first place raising almost $10,000 in one week.
See celebrations are everywhere! I have a lot of plans in the next week or so in preparation for the Relay. We are going to sell corn dogs and chili as our lunch fundraiser along with cupcakes. What birthday party misses cupcakes? I want to buy a whole bunch of candles and pass them out with a tag that says my team name on one side and then on the other it will say "celebrating more birthdays". Along with all that I want to make personalized shirts for my team or any participants. Last year we decorated a whole bunch with shirt paints and glitter. If you would like one please let me know! You can either purchase your own white tee and give it to me to decorate or let me know your size and I will purchase it and decorate it.
This month should be a fun month regardless. I've had different feelings with my birthday this year but I do it every year. I'm a very emotional person especially when it comes to my birthday. I'm not sure what the plans are yet. I know a few of us are going to a piano bar/restaurant for dinner to celebrate the friends that have August birthdays all at once (it gets expensive trying to celebrate our birthdays separately). I have yet to find out what Jay has up his sleeve but I'm sure it will be good. And then the family party & whatever/whoever else I celebrate with. I do want to try to get the girls together and do a tea party type of thing, just go to have some tea and crumpets and conversate for a couple hours. :) We'll see I have lots of time until then.
Hope you all enjoy your AUGUST!!!!!!
