A Day out For BOTH of my Girls

February 4th, 2012:

Mommy was feeling pretty rested up today and just in a good mood. I went with daddy and big sister to run some errands. My first store trip since being pregnant with you....BABIES R US!!!!

I was so excited to go in. And really wanted to. I haven't been able to feel that anticipation when being in a store and walking by the baby stuff so I really wanted that chance. Plus, we needed to add some things to the registry. Daddy loves picking out stuff for you girls, I think he was more excited than mommy. We went to the nurseries to check out the bedding in person we picked out for you. And we fell more in love. It goes so well with the one we picked out for Bri'elle and is just so cute. I can't wait to set it all up for you. It was a great day gearing up for you as daddy, me, and Bri'elle prepare for you more and more, today was a family outing for you. Big sister even got to pick some stuff out for you, there was a piglet doll she had to hold while we shopped bc she wanted it for you. It was so precious. We are ecstaticly waiting for your arrival that will be here before we know it. You are already so loved :) 

After our shopping date we headed over to Benihanas for dinner. This is one of our favorite places to eat and I highly recommend it. You get to sit around the grill top were the chef cooks your dinner and puts on a little show. AND they have the best fried rice, YUM! It's nice for the little ones because their menu turns into a chef's hat. Bri'elle LOVES to cook so it was perfect for her. She even pretended she was cooking us dinner along side the chef. It was so cute. We definitely have a cooker in the family. Dinner was delicious as usual. Jay and I order one of the bigger platters and share it amongst the three of us, great way to save on money. We order Bri'elle her own little drink and if one of us is craving a certain kind of drink we order one and share it (most of the time its unlimited refills) while the other one of us will order water. So that way we have pretty much everything but for a cheaper price. To top it off our dinner comes with a dessert so we share that too. Couldn't be better right?!? Oh while we were there we signed up for the special where if you go on your birthday your meal is free! Looks like we will be going back at least for ONE of our birthdays. 

Today was a good day out and even though Jalilah is still in womb it was nice to spend the day full of things for our girls.

The wedding was so fabulous! We drove up and got there a couple hours before the wedding. Shelly and I helped DeAnna get ready at the chapel, while the rest of the gang met us there about 30 mins before the ceremony. It was a quick little ceremony like most are. What I like about it the most was it was mostly close family that was there, very intimate. Jay was honored to be the best man and said the most sweetest speech for his dad and new MOM. It literally made me want to cry. He expressed himself very well (Jay is not someone to give speeches, he likes to just go with the flow). Ms. Bri'elle was the flowergirl. It was so neat because she wore the flowergirl dress from my wedding. I was very happy that she got to play the role and wear the dress. She looked fabulous in it and loved it! I'm so glad we kept it and it fit her. :) The reception was at a nearby Italian Restaurant - everyone from the wedding went to have dinner there. The food was so good!!! I ate my whole plate plus a slice of pizza from my sister's plate. After dinner we all headed to our rooms. Some went out to the casinos while the rest of us stayed snuggled inside. 


I'm so happy for Marty & DeAnna!!! I'm so glad I was able to be a part of it! To see Jay extremely happy for his dad and mom makes me even more happy. 


Marty & DeAnna: May God bless every year of your marriage! You will have a full life of happiness together. There will be ups and downs but what marriage doesn't have them. It will build a foundation for a great territory of love between you two and the rest of the family. I love you two so much!!!!!

 I had the pleasure to be pregnant along side one of my best friend's this time around. She is expecting her second child as well. And guess what!?!?! We are both having girls!!!! Again!!!! It's been nice to be prego with someone. Actually I've been lucky with both pregnancies to have lots of pregos around me so my kids will have lots of friends. 


Marissa's Diaper party was alot of fun and she got ALOT of diapers, it was a success! 


Can't wait to meet you baby Rylin - and Jalilah is eager to play with you too! 

**February Birthdays**

My Mom's Birthday was one of the First Birthday's we celebrated in February

We celebrated with two different parties. I made potatoe soup and a sundae cake on her actual birthday. A couple days later my dad had some more of the family over and had a cake for her. 

 

Next is my Nana's Birthday!!!

My mom and my aunt gathered at my nana & papa's house along with the rest of us grandkids to have dinner and cake for her birthday. We had one of her favorites, Chinese food. 

  

One of my good friends Birthday was towards the end of the Month - Happy Birthday Meagan!!!!

All three of us set out on a Friday night to Meagan & Garrett's to attend a Fiesta/Surprise Party Garrett put together for her. It was so cute! I even got to enjoy a non-alcoholic margarita!! It tasted so yummy. 

 To end our birthday celebrations - Jordan's 4th Birthday finished off the cake eating for us!

Jordan's birthday was so cute themed as build-a-bear. The kids all got to make a little tebby bear shaped craft with lots of toppings for them to choose from. Yarn, eyes, bows, you name it - it was on it! Such a fun time for Bri'elle!!! 

For our Birthday people - I'll say a little prayer for you...

I pray that God blesses each of you through this new chapter of your life. Whether your in your 60's, 40's, late 20's, and even the single digits. It's amazing how much God works in each person's life. Remember all things can be done by the grace of God. May God bless this year for you. 

 

Meagan: It's has been really nice to have met you. I'm glad me and my family were able to celebrate your birthday! We had a lot of fun!!!

Jordan: Dear sweetie, I'm so glad that I get to be a part of your life. I know this next year is bringing on many new things for you and I pray God will bless you with each of those new things. That you may learn from them and be the BIG girl you are! I'm so glad that you and Bri'elle get to play with each other. She loves you very much and asks for you almost everyday. Love you sweetie!!! Happy 4th birthday!

Earth to Brandi

Where have I been? 

At home, relaxing, not doing MUCH!!! So why haven't I blogged? I have no idea!!! Really what is wrong with me???....

Everytime I actually attempt to come on here I get side tracked, either by homework, pampered chef stuff, checking my email, sorting the girls room, browsing the web. You name it I'm doing it (sarcasm). 

I have SOOOOO many things to talk about and write about, ugh! I need some motivation. Anyone else feel like that? Like someone needs to snap you back into reality...Earth to Brandi!

Well hopefully since I have a little bit of time on my hands, I can get a a few posts on here to at least catch up whats going on in our life. I feel like this journal is going to be blank for the start of 2012 if I don't. 

So be prepared for a lot of blogging feed within the next few days. Most of the posts will be pictures with a little bit of writing/captions. 

P.s. I'm really wanting to switch to PUBLIC view instead of PRIVATE view. I love my readers now but I want to be more in the blogging world and allow others a chance to read the blog. :)

I need a new layout, anyone have any suggestions or know of a easy to use website?
