Movie Time!!!!

 Daddy surprised us when his alarm went off and said, "I don't think I'll go into work today". I was so shocked but didn't want to turn away an opportunity like this. He said his plans are to spend the day with his girls, all 3 of them. I had a smile on my face ear to ear. 


As Bri'elle slept we got up showered and got dressed. Spent a little bit of morning time together then woke Bri'elle up after Jay set out all the stuff he was going to have Bri'elle help him make breakfast. The two of them made breakfast for us then we all finished getting ready. 


When we went through Bri'elles room on Friday and Saturday Jay found a container of tokens from Chuckie Cheese, so that was our first stop. Bri'elle was so excited! It was so nice to be together and watch our little girl smile over the small things. She played for about an hour then daddy had another place to take us.


Next we when to the movies to see Beauty and the Beast. One of my all time favorite Disney movies and I think it's becoming a favorite of Bri'elles. When the movie started she yelled Beauty and Beast, then began to sing along as the musical portion started. Even Jay joined in on the singing. 


We had a blast!!! It was such a nice family fun day together. I will cherish these moments forever... Today Bri'elle woke up and said no daddy work today. Poor thing always thinks he can stay home whenever she gets time with him before.
 


 

The Circus is in Town

As a little treat for Jay's birthday (his gift) I bought us some circus tickets since the circus is here. Jay had told me he has never been to the circus. Of course, I immediately bought them since I love treating him to things he has never done. I think everyone should experience the circus at least once in their lifetime. It's just so fun and happy. This would also be Bri'elles first time going too. Unfortunately, I was unable to join them because I was ill and the doctor put me on bed rest but I insisted that they still go and enjoy themselves. We let my little sister Jojo take my place. It turns out that Bri'elle was free so good thing my brother tagged along hoping to buy a ticket there and was able to use the ticket we bought for Bri'elle. It all worked out perfectly. Jay called me at the intermission to tell me Bri'elle was having a blast. She wanted him to take her down to the bottom of the stage to see the animals and all the circus people. I'm so happy they had a good time. Since I wasn't able to go Jay bought the DVD of the circus for me to watch. It was so sweet that he thought of me. He also bought Bri'elle a circus hat, a stuffed bear, and a coloring book. By request, he brought me home cotton candy. 

Daddy Daughter Date - A's Game

On Friday (April 15th) Jay went on a daddy date with Bri'elle and another daddy (Justin) and his daughter (Jordan). This game was Bri'elles first professional baseball game and from what I hear she had a blast. Jay said she was totally into the game and was yelling when everyone was yelling and clapping when everyone else was clapping. I'm so glad she had fun. We are definitely going at least once a month to the games. They have so many deals this year that will make it easier for us to go. At this game they were giving away A's blankets for the first 10,000 fans which all four of them each got to bring home a blanket. Not only did they make out with blankets but they also got two A's shirts (Jay got one for himself and one for me since they were only giving away XL sizes), a voucher for three tickets to another game, a $6 concession stand purchase, and they all had fun. I'm so glad they went. Jay and Justin are talking about doing a daddy/daughter date once a month to the games which is a fantastic idea and us moms (Me and Marissa - the wife/mommy of Justin and Jordan) will have ourselves a girl night. P.s. Our girls are the cutest. They were wearing the same dress and it wasn't even planned.
