Where have I been? 

At home, relaxing, not doing MUCH!!! So why haven't I blogged? I have no idea!!! Really what is wrong with me???....

Everytime I actually attempt to come on here I get side tracked, either by homework, pampered chef stuff, checking my email, sorting the girls room, browsing the web. You name it I'm doing it (sarcasm). 

I have SOOOOO many things to talk about and write about, ugh! I need some motivation. Anyone else feel like that? Like someone needs to snap you back into reality...Earth to Brandi!

Well hopefully since I have a little bit of time on my hands, I can get a a few posts on here to at least catch up whats going on in our life. I feel like this journal is going to be blank for the start of 2012 if I don't. 

So be prepared for a lot of blogging feed within the next few days. Most of the posts will be pictures with a little bit of writing/captions. 

P.s. I'm really wanting to switch to PUBLIC view instead of PRIVATE view. I love my readers now but I want to be more in the blogging world and allow others a chance to read the blog. :)

I need a new layout, anyone have any suggestions or know of a easy to use website?

Oh-No..Really A Big Oh-No

I think I just did the biggest mistake in the blog world. Since I'm new to the blogging world there's not too much I know. I know the basics, like how to post a blog, upload photos, etc. But I do not know the logistics. 


So with that said here is what I did.... 
I wanted to change my blog. I was just itching to do so... so as I started thinking of things to change, I thought about my profile picture, the layout, and so on. I started with my profile picture. I went to edit profile and began to edit what I wanted to change. From there I removed the previous image and picked out a new one. A box came up saying that I had reached my picture quota I was limited. Well of course my first instinct is to find out what is making me reach this quota especially if I removed the previous photo to enter a new one. It turns out that the Picasa web album that stores the photos said I had reached my max. Naturally, I start deleting the albums, until I realized as I read more about it, it stores all your photos from your blog. Oh-No! I think to myself. Did I just really delete photos off of my blog? Can anyone help me. They still appear on here when I view my blog but if I ever want to print the blog will they not show up? Yikes!


I really hope I didn't just do something off of impulse to try to edit my blog. 

Blog Update

I'm still working on some stuff for the blog to have it all complete. There are a few things that I'm still needing to work out. 

If anyone knows how to do the following - please let me know:

• How to take the borders of off the sidebar? 

 It is driving me crazy the way it puts a gray little line between each of the different widgets on the side. I have searched a bit but wasn't able to find what I'm looking for and I'm scared to try anything too drastic for the fear of messing up the whole blog.

Recently I have been looking for maybe a new layout. Ooooo ahhh! Now wouldn't that be nice. Even though I like the one we have I need something that is easy on the eyes. :)

Also I might change the blog domain name. Currently it is hawaiinisland but I don't like how its missing an "A" in Hawaiian and I sometimes forget - so I'm hoping to come up with a better name. Any suggestions???

I will be also making this blog more fun.... how about a GIVEAWAY!!!! I'm up for it. I'm going to try to get a few more readers one the blog (just a couple) and then I will host a blog referral. The person who has the most referrals to the blog will win something special. I will make it worth it, especially for my two devoted readers at the moment ;P 

It should be fun and a way to get my blog out there. I have decided for the time being to keep the blog private. I'm searching other ways to keep the blog private without having a reader's list and have to enter the persons email. Again if anyone has any ways they know of please let me know. More details on the contest to come. Keep watching for my "followers" to go up.

New to my Blog World

The blog is really getting somewhere.......

Please let me introduce: Music to our blog!!!!

Yay!!! Slowly I'm learning new things that go into the blogging world. Pretty soon I hope to have this blog all up to speed. For now please enjoy the music as you tap into the blog.  Right now it is Christmas music to set the mood for the holidays that are just around the corner. I will change it up a bit every once in awhile adding new songs. Any suggestions?!?! Also please let me know if the player doesn't load for you when you open the page. I did a test run and it worked but that's usually how it starts. It works for the writer but when the reader tries it its a no go. Just leave a comment and I will try to fix it ASAP! I do have the sound default to start when you load it turned off as a courtesy so it won't startle you when the page loads. If you want to hear music while your reading and checking out the blog just scroll to the bottom of the page and press play.
