July 21st -

 This wasn't exactly on Friday but it will do. This is right before bed and Bri'elle was making mommy a plate of some yummy desserts. She isn't that I keep eating it. Every time I would give it back to her she would make me a new plate. I love playing pretend with her and seeing how her little imagination is working.

Hubby Thursday - Family date night

July 21st

After work Jay pick me up and together with Bri'elle we headed to Emeryville to have dinner and hangout. It was so much fun spending some quality time with the three of us. We get wrapped up in our daily lives we forget to stop and take a moment to soak everything up and that's exactly what I did. It felt as if time slowed down so I could enjoy every last minute with my two loves. 

We went to the Bay Street district of Emeryville. The first stop was the Teacake Bake Shop. There we of course got our favorite pink velvet cupcake and clover milk. We sat in the courtyard and listened to the band from a nearby highschool play music. Bri'elle loves music so we were up close to them. 

After we then headed to Pasta Pomodoro for dinner. We were all starving!!! And ordered some yummy food we shared. Jay order his usual when we go to Italian, Chicken Parmigiana. I ordered Chicken in lemon and thyme. Bri'elle shared from our plates with her side of Broccoli and together as an appetizer we shared the butternut squash ravioli's. As complimentary the waiter gave us an ice cream (for Bri'elle) but of course Jay and I had to get in on it. 

Once dinner was finished we were in a food coma so we walked around for a couple minutes and decided to head back home. 

It was such an enjoyable night together. I love family time!!!!!

Momma In Focus Friday - July 15th

MOMMA IN FOCUS FRIDAY

JULY 15th -

Marissa and I took our lovely ladies to "Castle Park" for a picnic. This park is located in central Benicia. It's such a great location. If you walk down town there's also some great restaurants and some perfect sightseeing by the water. The day was a little breezy but it ended up being quite hot even though the sun wasn't directly on you. The park wasn't too busy when we got there which is always nice. After our lunch at one of the many picnic tables within the park area we headed over to let the girls run loose. And that they did seeing how they had tons of room to roam around for some fun. It is such a huge park with a lot of play structures some surrounded by bark and some surrounded by sand. The structure is wooden and has lots of slides, swings, monkey bars, and a tire area they can play with. I know I'm not describing it to its fullest so you will have to go there and see for yourself ;)

Saturday -

• Marissa & I visited the Marquez family
• Had lunch with Marissa
• The Jungle w/ Jay, Bri'elle, & Jojo
• To see Mickey (the Disney Store)
• Black Angus with my whole family (excluding mom)

Sunday -

• Church
• Lunch with the Taylor-Chaffee's at our house
• Jordan stayed over a lil bit to play with Bri'elle
• Dinner at the Taylor-Chaffee's

Madison Marie Marquez

My friend Olga and her family welcomed the newest addition on Friday. Madison's birth story told by her mommy Olga. Olga had an amazing delivery as everyone close prayed for her and the baby to be safe and healthy throughout labor.

On Saturday, Marissa and I headed to the birthing center to give our love to the family and of course hold little Madison. Olga looked great for just having a baby, Ray shined with Joy, and the two older sisters were so happy and excited for their baby sister to finally be here. It felt so awesome to see a family together like that. I don't think I've ever visited anyone with their complete family by their side. That is truly a testament of God's glory.

Little Madison is so cute! Good job Ray & Olga. Your girls are so beautiful and with parents like you they will be beautiful inside and out.
